Talking digital art at The ThinkShop

The Finsbury Arts festival in London recently held a ThinkShop – a host of 10 minute mini-lectures on a variety of art-related subjects.

They invited Jason to speak with only one proviso – to inspire the room by sharing some knowledge. Ten minutes is a tall order for life-long inspiration, but never one to shirk a challenge, Jason enlightened the audience with a talk about what an art-gallery experience might be like in the future.

Jason asked the audience to log-in to the wireless network on their devices, and high-jacked their browser using intk’s unCloud application, directing them to an online experience where they could peruse some browser artwork and interact with other people in a virtual gallery space. Jason spoke about the future of the internet as a medium for artwork, how we might find it invading our everyday lives and how we might judge context differently in the future.

If you’re interested in having Jason speak at your event, get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
